We are looking for a customer focused and knowledgeable Senior Network Consultant for our Calgary branch to work on our client's site's Network management. You will make a meaningful impact as a member of a team focused on client delivery. You will be a trusted advisor who will provide technical guidance, mentorship and support to the Long View client.
A Day in the Life:
- Main focus will be on technology and network integration and functioning as a solution designer for specific projects
- The 3 key areas of focus will be: (NAC using ISE, DNS/DHCP Infoblox, Voice topology; (micro-Session border controller, Riven SPC, Microsoft Teams voice, like Verizon SIPTrunk))
- Daily equipment maintenance: ISE switch 9300 9400 9500 Cisco and a small portion of Aruba WLC controllers
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in an IT environment with network architecture design and deployment
- Consulting Skills: Designing, Communication, negotiations, vendor management, analyzing of solutions
- Understanding the Cisco ISE, Understanding Infoblox, Understanding MS Teams Voice
- Experience with networking and security
- Ability to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and training on the implemented systems
- Ability to perform network assessments and design recommendations
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve network issues
Understanding of:
- Firewalls, IPS/IDS
- TCP/IP, IPSEC Site to Site VPN, GRE, DMVPN, Client VPN, NAT, VRF technologies
- Data Center technologies such as VPC, VDC, FcoE, FC, virtual switching
- Cisco IOS and NXOS
- Cisco Meraki
- Layer 2 Technologies such as switching, VLAN, spanning tree
- Layer 3 Routing protocols: MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
- Software-defined Networking (SDN)
- Wireless design and configuration
- Network monitoring solutions
- Cisco Voice/Call Manager
