The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and customizing NetSuite solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of NetSuite's SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteFlow, and have a strong understanding of ERP and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom scripts, workflows, and records to enhance NetSuite functionality.
- Build and manage integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications using SuiteTalk and other technologies.
- Analyze existing NetSuite setups and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Resolve complex technical issues related to NetSuite and provide timely support to end-users.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all customizations, integrations, and processes.
- Provide training and support to junior developers and end-users on NetSuite functionalities and best practices.
- Lead development projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in NetSuite development, including SuiteScript 2.0, 2.1, SuiteTalk, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteFlow.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, XML, and RESTful/SOAP web services. Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
- Solid understanding of ERP processes, particularly finance, inventory, and order management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- NetSuite certifications (such as SuiteFoundation or SuiteCloud Developer) are highly desirable.
Nice To Have But Not Required
- Ability to lead a team of NetSuite Developers, NetSuite System Admins, and NetSuite Business Partners to coordinate all internal support and development activities within the organization.
- Understanding of Fixed Assets, Material Requirements, and other new modules.
