At Mindera, we are looking for a Principal .NET Engineer to join our team. As a Principal Engineer, you will take a lead role in providing technical guidance and mentoring to the development team, driving technical excellence and innovation. You will be responsible for architecting scalable and maintainable solutions, designing and implementing complex systems, and providing technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle.
We are seeking someone with extensive experience in .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices is essential. As a Principal .NET Engineer, you should have a deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud architecture, with hands-on experience in designing and building scalable, resilient, and secure applications.
As a part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, and have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
Requirements
- This job requires extensive experience in .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core. It is essential to have a strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices. Additionally, the candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable, resilient, and secure applications.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases is required, along with experience working with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- The ideal candidate should also have experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is highly desirable.
- Apart from technical skills, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues are crucial for this role.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for working in a team environment. The candidate should be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and have a keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- In addition, strong leadership and mentoring skills are preferred.
Requirement
- More than 8 years of industry experience in software development with a strong emphasis on .NET
- .Net and React based application development experience would be very preferable.
- Prior experience as a Tech Lead for a team comprising both front-end and back-end Engineers skills are preferred.
- Should have experience in designing large and highly available web applications in Retail or Travel Domain.
- Experience in designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns, such as MVC and SOLID
- The applicant must have a sound understanding of coding and design/solutioning best practices to effectively guide teams in offering solutions for complex and distributed systems
- Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices
- Proficient in implementing software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Extensive knowledge of the .NET ecosystem, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services, specifically AWS
- Experience collaborating with Business, Functional, and Technical stakeholders to develop solutions, estimations, and plans
- Experience working in a distributed system/microservices environment
- Solid foundation in Computing and Software Engineering fundamentals
- Experience working in cross-cultural environments, as our team is distributed across UK, Europe, and India, with the responsibility of driving solutions
- Quality is the core focus of the Engineering team, emphasizing equal importance on quality and development. Our work environment follows the Shift-Left mode of development practice, where Quality assurance is integrated throughout the development process from the inception of requirements.
- Experience leading teams that have adopted the Shift Left development methodology is important.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities

- Experience with frontend development technologies, such as JavaScript, Angular, or React
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
