Senior Microsoft PowerApps Developer /Lead Microsoft PowerApps Developer - R&D, IFS ESG

We, IFS Sustainability Application team lookouts for dynamic and open-minded individuals to join us as PowerApps developers to work with ESG-related Developments.

This is a great opportunity to work in the Sustainability Application team, helping bring innovation to life. The product area is for Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) where you will get the opportunity to work on developing products aimed at helping companies achieve their sustainability goals and report on their progress in-line with international standards. The product is in an incubation phase giving the opportunity work on iterative product development consistent with a customer centric approach.
                                                                                                                                 

Essential duties and accountabilities

• Design, develop, and implement PowerApps solutions to meet business requirements.
• Utilize Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, to create integrated solutions.
• Implement complex logic and custom workflows within PowerApps.
• Familiarity with working with APIs,Plugin  and an associated software language such as C#/.Net
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of developed applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects on time.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and performance.
• Documenting developments including the technical setup and process
• Presenting and training on the developments

• University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in software engineering
• Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft PowerApps and Power Platform.
• Strong understanding of data integration, data modeling, and database design.
• Proficiency in Power Automate, Power BI, and other Power Platform tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., PL-900, PL-100, PL-200) or related technologies are advantageous
• Previous working experience with Enterprise grade software is a definite advantage
• Tenacious, with a passion to get the job done
• Ability to link process to technology and contribute towards product direction
• Desire to learn new areas, find ways to improve and do things smarter
• Experience in design, development, testing, test automation, debugging, and maintenance of software
• Interest/experience in the MS PowerApps and/or other low code platforms will be an added advantage
• Competent and experienced in documentation, presentation and training
• Excellent verbal and written communication
