BlackStone eIT is actively seeking a Senior Mendix Developer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in the Mendix platform to design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications that enhance business processes. As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, user-friendly applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Mendix applications, adhering to best practices and design principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality code through testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews to promote code quality and consistency
- Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and technical skills
- Stay updated with Mendix platform advancements and industry trends to continuously improve development practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on Mendix
- Strong proficiency in the Mendix platform and Model-Driven Development (MDD)
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and development processes
- Prior experience with cloud deployment and DevOps practices is a plus
- Mendix certifications are highly desirable
