We are looking for hands-on Mechanical Engineers to support development of our device and other projects. You must be motivated, curious, and consider unconventional solutions. Work is highly collaborative and cross functional. Work includes designing and fabricating device encapsulation, robotic systems, tools and fixtures for biological, optical and device teams. At this early stage, speed is of utmost importance, so you must be able to pivot, and approach challenges from multiple directions simultaneously. You must be able to move quickly without losing important details, and understand when to modulate for high precision tasks. Design and fabrication work will encompass the range from micro (we work in microns) to macro (some machines weigh hundreds of pounds) depending on the challenge. All challenges are highly collaborative.

Salary/Pay Range:
Science is required under California law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. We determine your level based on your interview performance and make an offer based on the indicated salary band. The base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 – $180,000 annually + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please keep in mind that the equity portion of the offer is not included in these numbers.
