SEAKR Engineering is seeking an experienced and dynamic Material Program Manager (MPM) to join our team in Centennial, Colorado. As the inaugural MPM at SEAKR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading material strategies, overseeing financial reporting, and developing key processes to build a robust Material Program Management function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of Material Program Plans, Subcontract Management Plans, and strategic planning tools.

Manage Risks and Opportunities: Develop and implement Material Risk & Opportunity plans to ensure program commitments are met and proactively manage mitigation strategies.

Financial Oversight: Support financial management reviews using Earned Value Management (EVM) through the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.

Coordinate Across Functions: Collaborate closely with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to synchronize schedules based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

Monitor and Improve Performance: Track supplier performance metrics, address program and functional issues proactively, and provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews.

Subcontractor Oversight: Ensure effective supplier execution performance by managing subcontractors’ schedules and commitments.

Forecast and Meet Commitments: Forecast material sales and ensure that financial commitments are met.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least five years of experience.

Experience: Practical knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and project/material management.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Advanced Education: Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain, or a similar field.

Supply Chain Tools: Experience with Supply Chain Planning tools such as IFS (most preferred), SAP, Power BI, and Kinaxis RapidResponse.

Cost Management: Experience as a Cost Account Manager, including Material Estimate at Complete (EACs) and material forecasting.

Supplier Management: Familiarity with PO placement, proposal reviews, Best Value Source Selections, and competition.

Proposal Support: Experience supporting or leading proposal efforts.

Production Control: Understanding of factory and/or production control processes.

Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as CORE, Six Sigma, or Lean.

Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros, VBA, and data integration.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to evaluate end-to-end planning and identify constraints, risks, and opportunities.

Project Management: Experience with project management and a knowledge base to drive change and provide systemic solutions.
Compensation: Base salary range is $110,000-165,000, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
Onsite or Hybrid preferred. Remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates, though it presents a notable disadvantage.
