Matillion is seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Marketing Operations and Data Analytics Manager to drive the strategic execution of our digital marketing channels, analytics, and marketing operations. This role will merge deep analytical expertise with technical operations leadership to optimize Matillion's digital marketing efforts, mar-tech stack, and data-driven decision-making. You will play a crucial part in enhancing our marketing technology, ensuring data integrity, and aligning analytics frameworks that support Matillion's growth goals.

What you will be doing

  • Analytics and Insights: Analyze website and digital channel performance to maximize conversions. Generate digital performance reports, conduct experiment analyses, and develop actionable insights.
  • Forecasting and Predictive Analysis: Work with the Data Science team on predictive analyses and trends forecasting to inform marketing strategy.
  • MarTech Stack Ownership: Lead the continual enhancement, evaluation, and maintenance of the marketing technology stack, selecting best-in-class solutions to boost visibility, efficiency, and scale.
  • Process Optimization: Design and document standardized processes for campaign execution, lead management, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Database Integrity: Ensure the health, privacy, and compliance of our marketing data, maintaining structures that support personalization, regional targeting, and account-based marketing (ABM).
  • Lead and Demand Management: Define lead management standards and coordinate with sales to establish service-level agreements (SLAs) and optimal routing processes.
  • Reporting and Self-Service Analytics: Build reporting and analytics frameworks that empower real-time data access and facilitate self-serve insights across business intelligence platforms.
  • Testing and Innovation: Experiment with new processes and approaches to enhance campaign execution and performance, using data-driven insights to inform improvements.

What we are looking for

  • Experience: Demonstrable past exposure in a marketing analytics or marketing operations role within a B2B environment, supporting multiple go-to-market strategies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau or Thoughtspot), and marketing tools (Google Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, ZoomInfo). Familiarity with data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL tools (Matillion a plus).
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven experience in project management, especially in tech operations, and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, growth, and revenue marketing teams.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data into actionable strategies that align with business goals. A results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving business outcomes through data.
  • Adaptability and Strategic Thinking: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to take ownership of projects, execute quickly, and maintain strategic alignment with company objectives.

At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive compensation in line with market standards based on the role, job family, job level, and country. This role’s estimated annual salaried pay range for this position is £60,000 - £90,000, and the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
