We're looking for a visionary marketing professional to build Greenfly’s authority in short-form content for sports and entertainment.
Position Summary: We are seeking a creative and strategic marketing leader to position Greenfly as the definitive authority on short-form content in sports and entertainment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for engaging Greenfly’s audience of sports and entertainment customers and prospects, building a thriving community of evangelists, and driving brand awareness through innovative content and strategic platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan that establishes Greenfly as a thought leader on short-form content for sports and entertainment. This includes owning Instagram strategy and creation process, and facilitation customer events throughout the year. This may also include Greenfly podcast presence, Greenfly awards, and/or community development.
- Campaign Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that establishes Greenfly as a thought leader on short-form content for sports and entertainment.
- Content Creation: Own the content creation process for all marketing content for thought leadership, blog, case studies, newsletters, website, sales materials, etc. Collaborate with Digital Marketing resource to execute and publish content.
- Community Evangelism: Create and foster an engaged community of sports and entertainment professionals who are passionate about Greenfly. The exact execution of this will be based on the marketing strategy and plan that is established.
- Social Media: Oversee and grow Greenfly’s social media presence, collaborating closely with the social media team to increase followers and engagement across platforms. Direct the Digital Marketing specialist on strategy, content creation and execution while staying on top of trends and best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to discover the best stories and content needs to drive key results.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking:Set performance goals, measure key metrics, and regularly report on performance. Utilize insights to refine and evolve content strategies and community engagement tactics over time.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 9+ years of experience in marketing strategy, content creation, or related roles in SaaS, sports, or entertainment.
- Proven ability to create and execute content strategies that establish brand authority and drive engagement.
- Strong understanding of short-form content trends, particularly in the sports and entertainment sectors.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a passion for storytelling.
- Experience in managing and growing a professional community, either online or offline.
- Demonstrated success in launching and scaling podcasts or similar media channels.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to measure content and community engagement performance.
