This is a hybrid role based in our Teddington office, you must live within a commutable distance. 

As part of Destination Sport Group, Sportsworld specialise in the design & delivery of international travel & hospitality programmes for spectators, governing bodies, sponsors, media & corporations at major international sporting events. https://www.sportsworld.co.uk/

Reporting directly to the Head of Product, this role is responsible for leading marketing across Sportsworld. This includes setting strategy, putting in place the right objectives, measurements, agencies and ultimately being accountable for return on investment. This role is the brand champion and needs to own and develop the Sportsworld brand in its ambition of becoming the most visible, trustworthy, and comprehensive sports hospitality & travel brand operating within the UK market.


No two days are the same in this exciting & broad role but on a typical day you will:


  • Lead, manage and develop the Sportsworld marketing team ensuring the right structure, resource and skills are in place to successfully execute the marketing strategy.
  • Take responsibility for marketing strategy, planning and implementation across all forms of creative, media and content.
  • Take ownership across all Sportsworld brand assets including but not limited to brand/product positioning, website, PPC, paid social, SEO, email, other digital marketing, partnerships, social media, advertising, and PR.
  • Develop strategy to maximise customer data to create loyalty and repeat purchase.
  • Manage and report on the marketing budget including measurement of ROI.
  • Take ownership for reviewing and implementing marketing technology and tools to maximise efficiency and productivity. Ensure that robust tracking and measurement is in place for all marketing activity.
  • Manage effective relationships with Sportsworld marketing and PR agencies to ensure consistent execution and commercial outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with Destination Sport Group’s central marketing functions including partnerships and digital marketing.
  • Ensure that partnerships with club/event partners are fully leveraged and activated across the marketing mix.
  • Understand sports hospitality and travel industry market trends to provide strategic idea generation for Sportsworld.
  • As required, support with selected strategic marketing and/or project activity for wider Destination Sport Group.
