What we are looking for:

MediaMonks is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager for our Data Services & Technology team to be responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan to further our growth, with the goal of driving new leads as well as engaging our current customer base.

You will be responsible for leading our marketing efforts, including paid ads, organic search and content marketing, email marketing, and pretty much anything else YOU think we need to do in order to drive more business.

The ideal candidate wants to take leadership in the marketing efforts for our business, someone who jumps on new opportunities and takes ownership with a focus on results. They are energetic, proactive, and nerdy about what they do. They like to move fast and flexibly and are humble enough to make mistakes and learn from them.

Qualifications/Background Sought: 

What we are looking for

We are looking for candidates that can wear two hats comfortably - “business”  and “data” - with 4-6 years of digital marketing experience. Ideally, this experience is with a digital marketing consulting firm, agency, or advertiser.

Experience with previously marketing Google Analytics, Data Science, and other data services would be extremely useful. In our eyes the most important qualities in a candidate are intellectual curiosity, autonomy, and proactivity.

Required Skills & Experience: 

    • Proven ability to create, lead, and implement an effective online marketing strategy
    • You have knowledge and understanding of the data, adtech, and martech industry.
    •  History of working with B2B demand generation principles and definitions like qualified leads, opportunities, and sales funnel metrics
    • Experience with a variety of online marketing tools and techniques such as Google Ads/SEM, SEO, Social Media, Email Marketing, and more
    • Exceptional ability to communicate and coordinate within a highly energetic and technical team
    • Proactive, disciplined, organized, self-starter and highly motivated
    • Experience analyzing data and creating reports and dashboards to show the effectiveness of their efforts

Required:

  • Knowledge of Ad Servers, campaign optimization tools, and/or online tracking technology, Social Ads Platform and Google Marketing Platform.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, comfortable speaking about and presenting ideas to anyone
  • Demonstrate ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, and campaigns that drive high ROI
  • Have a creative mindset and eye for detail
  • Knowledge of market research practices and techniques
  • Project management experience
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and be a team player

“Nice to Have”: 

  • Previously created and executed marketing strategies and campaigns for agencies in our space, focusing on services as well as products.
  • Have deep knowledge of data, data science, Google Cloud Platform, and other elements of our work.
  • Degree in Marketing or related field

What We Offer

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range
$80,000$100,000 CAD
