The CRM team is responsible for ensuring we maximise our relationships with our customers.  This is core to OVO’s ambition to be Britain’s decarbonisation partner - helping us better understand our customers and take them on the path to zero carbon.  CRM helps communicate and engage with our existing customer base through designing customer strategies which are personalised, relevant and timely. 

This central role reports to the Head of CRM and leads on all CRM activity to support our energy base. 

 

This role in a nutshell:

You’ll take the lead in shaping the future of OVO’s customer engagement during an exciting time within the energy market. This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful CRM campaigns that not only retain customers but also inspire them to take action and  join OVO on the path to zero carbon living. You’ll be at the heart of a dynamic team, working across departments, and making real-time decisions in a fast-paced environment.

 

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Effective CRM Strategy Execution: Successfully design and implement engaging and effective CRM programs that drive customer retention and improve value across the energy customer lifecycle.
  • Inspiring Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of marketing managers, ensuring they are motivated and equipped in line with business objectives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Provide accurate forecasts and performance reports, align with narrative, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks in CRM activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align CRM strategies with broader business goals and market changes.
  • Budget Management & Efficiency: Ensure optimal use of resources and manage budgets effectively, aligning spend with forecasted activities and outcomes whilst always looking to drive efficiencies.
  • Agile Response to Market Dynamics: Quickly adapt CRM approaches to shifts in the competitive landscape and evolving customer needs.
  • Process Improvement & Efficiency: Continuously review and optimise ways of working, focusing on streamlining processes to improve campaign speed-to-market and ensuring efficient collaboration across teams embracing new Martech solutions
  • Creative: Drive development of innovative & engaging content, that stands out against our competitors & delivers strong results

We’ll pay you between £63,000 and £70,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
