This position is a 6-month temporary assignment to cover the leave of an employee. There is a possibility for the contract to be extended or converted to a permanent position.
This role will be responsible for generating and delivering strategic marketing programs across Control Risks’ business in Latin America (with offices in Mexico City, Bogotá and São Paulo) and driving business to Latin America from other parts of the world, specifically the US and Canada.
The successful candidate will be expected to expand Control Risks’ profile through creative, targeted and well-executed marketing activities, in close cooperation with the Americas Marketing Director and other global and regional marketing and sales teams. This individual will also directly manage the Latin America leads queue and have oversight of the Latin America Marketing Coordinator. The successful candidate will have the ability to support the execution of our regional marketing strategy to position and enhance our brand across key Latin American markets and target buyer groups, as well as generate qualified leads and nurture existing ones, while influencing and ensiling marketing best practice and leadership across the firm’s marketing organization.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Work closely with the regional business leadership in an advisory capacity. Contribute to our commercial strategies, focusing on the dynamics of our marketplace, our offering, go-to-market approach and brand footprint.
- Evolve and grow our go-to-market strategy, leveraging our global footprint, the combination of capabilities across the firm and our reputation for quality and breadth of expertise. The strategy should markedly increase brand awareness in a competitive space and enable Control Risks to further penetrate existing client bases and support new client acquisition across Latin America.
- Be responsible for content creation across all stages of the sales journey. Work with our specialists to capture their expertise and insights while strongly messaging our value proposition.
- Be responsible for creating and running compelling and integrated automated campaigns that target key audiences to generate and nurture quality leads.
- Manage local language websites with a keen strategic grasp of website optimization and lead generation.
- Deliver and translate global and regional campaigns for use in Latin America.
- Plan, manage and deliver all company events including venue selection, budget management, attendee list, invitations, collateral and post-event follow-up.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the value propositions and brand footprint globally while placing an emphasis on brand enhancement and go-to-market activities in Latin America.
- Support our partnerships with third parties and draw them as a force multiplier.
- Build productive relationships with industry associations, commentators and trade publications.
- Work with our Global Marketing Team (media, design, film production, content and digital specialists) to develop and run the campaigns.
- Track, measure, analyze and refine program activities to optimize impact. Provide both qualitative and quantitative analysis and work with our account management functions to ensure that we are driving business development value from our marketing efforts.
- Own Latin America leads queue, ensuring a clean hand-off from marketing to sales. Optimize CRM data and lists for use in marketing efforts.

Knowledge and experience
- 5+ years experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the professional services space. (This role is particularly well suited for anyone with prior experience marketing to Security and Risk and/or Legal and Compliance customer types.)
- Proven experience operating at a senior level
- Successful track record of marketing strong B2B brands and complex products/services
- Proven track record of marketing program ownership, having designed and executed successful integrated marketing programs.
- Demonstrable expertise in both digital and traditional marketing techniques.
- Advanced software skills (Microsoft Office), proficiency with CRM systems; email marketing tools; online registrations sites; and finance systems.
- Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills
- Strong, collaborative team player
