How will you contribute to Skroutz’s vision?

Skroutz is currently expanding abroad, delivering orders throughout Europe. As a Marketing Associate, you will be part of our local team based in Romania, helping us to coordinate our marketing initiatives across the country. 

You will be working closely with the central Marketing & Business teams, as well as the local Language Content Manager, in order to unravel our business strategy and establish our brand in Romania.

  • Your efforts will directly contribute to Skroutz's successful entry and establishment in the Romanian market, expanding our user base and market share.
  • Through your knowledge of the local market, you will elevate Skroutz's brand awareness and reputation in Romania, positioning us as a trusted and preferred destination for online shopping.
  • Your strategic marketing proposals and customer acquisition tactics will drive revenue growth by attracting and retaining Romanian customers
  • By implementing engaging and targeted marketing strategies, you will enhance user engagement on the Skroutz platform, fostering long-term relationships and loyalty among Romanian customers.
  • Your collaboration with various internal teams and external partners will facilitate seamless execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing impact.

What you will be doing

  • Developing Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with the central Marketing team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the Romanian market, including but not limited to digital advertising, social media campaigns, influencer partnerships, and content marketing.
  • Executing Campaigns: Take ownership of end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, from briefing to implementation, monitoring performance metrics and optimizing strategies for maximum effectiveness.
  • Content Creation: Work closely with the Language Content Manager to create localized content for marketing materials, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance with the Romanian audience.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns using relevant analytics tools, analyze data to derive actionable insights, and provide regular reports to stakeholders on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Product, Sales, and Customer Support teams to align marketing efforts with business goals and ensure seamless coordination across departments.

Requirements

  • Miinimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in e-commerce or related industries. Experience in international marketing or expansion projects is a plus.
  • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is required. 
  • Native Romanian speaker & fluent English speaker. Knowledge of Greek will be considered a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Romanian e-commerce market, consumer behavior, and cultural nuances is essential.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and derive actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Experience in digital marketing channels and tools, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
