ABOUT THE TEAM

The Financial Risk Team is responsible for the ongoing assessment, quantification, controlling and reporting of our financial risks. The Team owns and manages our ICAAP and ILAAP including all corresponding processes and quantification methods. The team ensures that all financial risks arising from our business operations are monitored and kept within the risk appetite, as established by our management.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Enhance the bank-wide ICAAP Framework in terms of risk quantification methodologies with a focus on Market Risk, IRRBB and CSRBB
• Support the Risk Reporting Process and further develop our KPI Monitoring Framework
• Drive the improvement of the Stress Testing Framework with a focus on scenario quantification 
• Support Supervisory interactions and exercise 
• Support the model validation framework and process
• Support Product Teams for all Risk Management related aspects 
• Engage with model owners in the 1LoD as well as business and development experts to ensure the liquidity positions are effectively challenged and risk arising from Model deficiencies are identified and addressed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education and technical skills:

• Master’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics or similar disciplines with a quantitative background
• Very good knowledge of the regulatory Requirements (e.g. ECB’s and BaFin’s ICLAAP, CRR, CRD, IFR, IFD, MaRisk, technical standards of the EBA)
• Excellent knowledge of risk management techniques and risk quantification methods with knowledge in more than one risk type (market/IRRBB, credit, operational and liquidity risk)
• Advanced programming skills (e.g. Python, R, C++, Java), experienced with databases (e.g. SQL) is a plus

Experience:   

• ideally 5+ Years of relevant professional experience in one or more of the below Fields : 
• ERM/Risk Controlling with a Tier1 Bank or a Fintech in the EU
• Risk advisory or audit for a Tier1 Audit or Advisory Firm in the EU 
• Working for banking regulatory or supervisory bodies in the EU
