As a Sr Manager, you will set the vision and strategy for the application development team – ensuring that our solutions are flexible, performant, resilient and provides our customers with the best possible experience. This role is a managerial and hands-on technology role.

Collaborate with Development & QA staff on individual and team deliverables

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
• 8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• 5+ years of Experience in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited to Java, Python, Javascript, etc.
• 5+ years of Experience with source control, build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Subversion, Maven, Hudson, GIT, Chef, Ansible.
• 3 + years of Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Unix Shell, Perl, Groovy
• Proficient in implementing design patterns and hands on knowledge of Spring, hibernate and RDBMS technologies like PostgreSQL, Oracle or similar
• Experience with web service standards and related patterns (REST, JSON)
• Experience developing large scale, enterprise class distributed system or subsystems that require high availability, low-latency, & strong data consistency computing
• Experience implementing solutions for low-latency, distributed services using open standard technologies
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in software engineering best practices and the ability to influence the team to adopt the practices especially
• Demonstrate the ability in inspiring, motivating, growing the team to achieve high team engagement, efficiency, and quality
• In-depth understanding of agile principles. Demonstrate expertise in running Agile teams in an enterprise setting
