The India & South Asia (InSA) Consulting Market team within Visa Consulting & Analytics provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s largest issuers in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments and running risk.
What the Sr. Manager, Strategy and Operations, Visa Consulting & Analytics does at Visa:
The Senior Manager, Strategy and Operations for Visa Consulting & Analytics India and South Asia (INSA) will be entrusted with a broad portfolio of responsibilities helping Visa to accelerate the growth of its client-facing consulting and analytics services. He/she will be a key member of the VCA Leadership team, working closely with the wider VCA INSA team both in Mumbai and the S&O team in the region. Additionally, the incumbant will collaborate closely with colleagues across Visa, including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Country teams, Client Services, and Technology. The position reports to Head, Visa Consulting & Analytics INSA.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of core infrastructure needed to grow Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) in AP. This includes, but is not limited to, people/talent, project management, financial tracking, reporting and client development.
- Balance facilitation, influence, and leadership to drive execution across the VCA INSA team, support the business tracking process (Pipeline Review, Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews etc.)
- Lead a portfolio of projects of varied durations related to growing VCA's practice and capabilities in INSA
- Play a key role in facilitating the process of establishing VCA's multiyear strategic plan in INSA working closely with the VCA leadership team, Country Managers / Group Country Managers and Finance
- Develop frameworks that support the prioritization of strategic initiatives. Prioritize project activities and coordinate resources to achieve project goals
- Drive industrialization of the VCA practice by supporting initiatives like pricing, knowledge management, thought leadership, training, culture related initiatives and improving operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years' work experience. Experience and exposure to matrixed organizations preferable.
- Experience in or in-depth knowledge of financial services is strongly preferred, ideally with a deep understanding of cards and payments. Technology sector experience would also be desirable
- Exceptional academic credentials, including a degree from a top tier institution. MBA or post graduate degree preferred
- Good financial acumen and strong analytical modelling skills
- Experience leading large complex projects with multiple work streams and stakeholders at both senior and junior levels.
- Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.).
- Solution-focused: thriving in ambiguous, high-pressure situations; ability to adapt and reset priorities in changing circumstances; ability to connect the dots and see the big picture
- Must be results-oriented, able to handle multiple urgent tasks and must effectively deal with ambiguity
Proven track record of delivering high impact results working on projects in the areas of corporate strategy, growth initiatives and new market/segment/business strategies.
