This role in Visa’s Nordic & Baltic Product team is responsible for driving delivery and commercialization for Visa’s Strategic Initiatives (e.g. Visa A2A Scheme, Click to Pay, Visa BillManager) across the Nordic and Baltic markets. The role will interact closely with the Hub product team, especially in the early phase of solution design and client validation, but also closely with Client Success, Pricing and Analytics teams as the products move into launch and lifecycle.
The successful candidate having a nuanced ability to influence and collaborate across a complex and highly matrixed organization. This position will report to the Head of Products & Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Support creating the strategy and execute the GTM plan for strategic initiatives for the Nordics & Baltics, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including strategy, business development, account executives, marketing, and HUB to deliver results on both sides of the issuer and acceptance ecosystem.
- Help define the Visa-wide value proposition for clients, including how other Visa solutions and products could potentially complement our strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with the other NB and Hub Product and solution teams to drive coordinated solution sales.
- Continue identify, articulate and prioritize Product and solutions opportunities in terms of revenues potential, backed with solid business case
- Develop, execute and monitor day-to-day sales plans, forecasts, and performance metrics (gross/net revenue targets, budgets, other product metrics) and ensure alignment with the global and regional digital solutions objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Report and communicate progress, challenges, and achievements both internally and externally and across executive levels
- Collect client feedback and market requirements to drive the Global product development roadmap and GTM for our strategic initiatives.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
- Payment processing technology work experience and understanding of macroeconomics, regulation, consumer behavior and product operations with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Subject Mater expertise: a good understanding of traditional and emerging methods and players in the payments ecosystem (leveraging insights and market research)
- Commercial Acumen: Understand product financials and experience in product strategy and commercialization
- Technical Acumen: technical understanding of how digital payment technology work and how client infrastructure and product integration processes operate, with an understanding of APIs and services a plus
