Senior Manager, Strategic Finance - GTM

The Strategic Finance team at Navan is looking for a leader to own the operational and financial planning process across our Go-to-Market organization. This person will help to identify and refine key drivers and metrics that are fundamental to sustainable growth. This role will help automate/scale our critical metrics/reporting while partnering with the business and providing actionable insights to move the business forward.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partnering with GTM leadership and the broader executive team to: 
    • Plan and manage operational resourcing and budgets across GTM (e.g., Sales and Marketing spend)
    • Evaluate strategic initiatives and risks and opportunities to grow the business
    • Keep a pulse on, develop an independent point of view, and report on performance while providing recommendations to drive results
    • Help build an efficient high growth company by focusing on the right investments for the GTM organization as we scale (e.g., LTV to CAC analysis and tracking)
  • Working with our operating teams to:
    • Ensure sufficient sales capacity and demand generation to support our sales growth
    • Manage financial processes such as close, quarterly/annual planning, and external reporting as required
    • Provide financial guidance on business critical topics such as revenue forecasting, sales compensation, sales capacity, demand generation planning, and pricing
    • Develop and mentor a team and cross-functional relationships as our business and organization grows

What We’re Looking For:

  • Have 6+ years of work experience in Strategic Finance or related field; experience operating in a rapidly scaling business and/or advanced certification (e.g., MBA/CFA/CPA) a plus
  • Have experience managing a team with a track record of being able to retain, coach, and recruit top finance talent
  • Have extensive competency in building and auditing sophisticated financial models and large data sets
  • Be able to build trust with stakeholders and leaders across the organization and drive results
  • Be entrepreneurial and have an enthusiastic "get stuff done" mentality
  • Thrive in ambiguous and fast-moving environments while providing accurate data and insights that drive focused action

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
