Coupa is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Strategy & Field Operations to join the G&A (Backoffice) Team based in Japan and reports to Japan G&A Lead (FP&A Director).
This role will drive maximize/enhancement sales performance to promote the growth of the business in Japan. Specifically, it involves planning sales strategies, measuring KPIs, visualizing data and performance, analyzing situations. Based on these metrics, actions will be taken like guiding the sales team or collaborating with other stakeholders and results will be reported to Japan leadership team.
It is important to build relationships with the sales team and collaborate with the global sales strategy and field operations teams. Communication skills are also important, as is the ability to provide feedback for improvement even in difficult situations and convince the other party. The Sr. Manager will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement Sales strategies that align with the Coupa global goals and objectives.
What you will do:
- Define, drive, and track global sales programs to meet local and corporate goals
- Drive commercial operating consistency across demand generation, demand management, forecasting and value realization
- Partner closely with local leadership to evolve segmentation and coverage model in alignment with global GTM strategy
- Own annual commercial planning including Territory Planning & Management and Quota Setting
- Partner with enablement to define and roll out enablement programs in the region
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis, and support related projects as needed
- Develop key relationships and partner with internal stakeholders across Enablement, Finance, HR and IT
- Coaching the sales team according to the global sales framework
What you will bring to Coupa:
- Fluent Japanese and Fluent English
- 5+ years of experience in related Management Consulting, Operations, Program Management or similar role supporting a regional or global organization
- Experience in strategy, analytics and sales program design and execution
- Ability to distill complex analysis into actionable messages and presentations
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing and evolving role
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required (extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint required)
