In this role you will be responsible for managing our Enterprise Solution Group Account Directors and Client Solution Managers, who own client outreach, relationship building , aligning our product to clients business strategy, goals & needed ROI, continuously uncover incremental revenue opportunities, optimize campaigns/product adoption to ensure client objective are met, prove the value delivered to clients to scale investment, and bring insights that help refine client strategy.
The Sales Manager will inspire, mentor and coach their team to excel in their core role, with their clients, as a team and for impact on their market, while delivering on segment business priorities. High operational excellence and focus on team development are essential also. You will create impact outside of your core function by demonstrating excellence in leadership, providing leverage across cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and produce results to help us scale effectively.
Responsibilities
Invest in Team & Talent
- Hire, lead, manage and inspire a team of Account Directors and Client Solution Managers, focusing on role success, skills & competencies, career development, and coaching to high performance standards - to empower them to create impact internally and for clients. Acute focus on insights led, solution sales approach.
- Ensure that your plan, priorities and direction to the team are aligned with portfolio success, broader sales team/ business priorities and guide/inspire your team to deliver in sync with these
- Provide data-driven and observed, open, honest and constructive feedback (mentor & coach) when it comes to skill gaps and training, client engagement, prioritization and execute effective performance management
- Acute focus on insights led, solution sales approach with hands-on involvement in leading and managing senior stakeholder conversations.
- Anticipate hiring needs and regularly engage with top, passive talent to ensure hiring pipeline and ensure speedy hiring when needs arises, aligning also with you peer managers to share candidate profiles, interview
Lead Operational Excellence
- Partner with Sales Director & with relevant stakeholders to execute on business priorities/asks and any additional ESG or market focused initiatives to support the team achievement
- Where relevant, manage a few key relationships with Sales Ops, Insights, Marketing, Content Strategy, and other stakeholders to support and influence their cross-functional work
- Be an expert of the components and best practices of LinkedIn Products, LinkedIn workflows, systems and execution
Drive Revenue & Results
- Guide, Inspire and Support the team to bring to life the strategy and tactics for growing and supporting our managed customers while achieving revenue targets
- Ensure the team thinks “client-first”, relying on metrics that matter: long-term revenue growth, customer value, and customer understanding of the LinkedIn platform
- Identify, implement, and track Key Performance Indicators to drive the focus of your team to deliver customer value and revenue growth
- Manage ambiguity, change, asks and team to focus on what matters most for their success
Demonstrate LinkedIn Culture & Values
- Understand and be able to articulate the overall business objectives of LinkedIn and its value proposition to the advertising community
- Consistently lead by example through our LinkedIn values and culture, connect to our client base & market on our priorities, proposition, products and solutions

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 12+ years sales experience within Marketing & Advertising, Technology, or similar fast-paced industry
- 5+ years' experience of building and leading sales teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of overachievement against ambitious revenue and growth goals
- Strong background in digital media sales and/or understanding of the digital marketing
- Significant sales leadership experience, including the ability to influence, develop and empower colleagues and team members to achieve shared goals
- Experience in building diverse high performing teams and fostering a strong sense of inclusion and belonging
- Familiarity with media agency landscape, marketing, and ad technology ecosystems
- Deep experience building & maintaining C-Level agency and client relationships
- Strong presentation skills
