Position Summary:
The Communications Project Management team is an integral part of the Pax8 Corporate Communications organization. It supports the growth and operations of the company’s communicators by creating and managing relationships with stakeholders, driving projects and programs to completion, and helping develop communications strategies.
The Sr. Manager, Program Management is an experienced professional who supports the various efforts and projects of the broader organization. This individual will develop collaboration tools, maintain editorial calendars and resources, coordinate training, manage reports and briefs, and support global Communications operations. This role will play in integral part in developing intake processes that account for incoming requests from both other Pax8 departments and intra-department teams that require project management, video, or design support. The Senior Program Manager will increase alignment and productivity through their direction, enabling the Corporate Communications team to work collaboratively and serve organizations within Pax8 effectively.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain the topline global editorial calendar of external and internal engagements and events, as well as global calendar for internal strategy workshops.
- Develop and manage a team that serves as the central point of intake to track and prioritize the portfolio of projects impacting Corporate Communications.
- Establish process and guidelines for evaluating project scope and resource capacity, including expectations, asks, and assumptions for Corporate Communications requests, projects, or initiatives.
- Provide governance, leadership, oversight, and management of regional level programs and initiatives.
- Maintain project and program stakeholder and sponsor awareness through reporting and regular progress updates.
- Ensure projects have the right resources and technical requirements allocated and remain in scope.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness on cost and adhere to budget requirements.
- Drive project cost and energy efficiency by identifying optimization opportunities and incorporating AI solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Pax8 teams to submit feedback on the Corporate Communications organization, including process improvements, updates to standards documentation, tooling improvements, and more.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or related field and 6+ years' work experience in program management, project management, process management, process improvement OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years people management experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ years of experience working in community affairs or communications.
Preferred / Additional Qualifications:
- 7+ years people management experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 3+ years of experience working in community affairs or communications.
- Experience in the tech and cloud software industry.
- Advanced expertise in Pax8 Office product suite including Teams, Outlook, Slack, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as well as common project management applications. Proficiency in creating and managing SharePoint and PowerBI resources.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a global environment, collaborating with teams in different countries and time zones.
- Experience with building and nurturing partnerships, collaborating and influencing across multiple stakeholders in- and outside of Pax8 and within a team.
- Skilled at prioritization, creating order and marshalling resources towards achieving a common goal and a drive for results with energy and positive attitude.

Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $125,000 to $155,000, or more depending on experience.
