At Vonage we are ramping up to bring a next generation communication center to market. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management Strategy & Operations to drive the strategic initiatives and operational efficiency of our Product Management team. This role will work closely with Product Leadership, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to align product strategy with overall business goals, streamline operations, and support the execution of high-priority initiatives.
As a key partner to the Product team, you will be responsible for implementing processes, tools, and best practices that enhance the team's ability to deliver world-class products efficiently. You will also play a critical role in defining product strategies, managing product planning cycles, and providing data-driven insights to ensure alignment with the company’s long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Alignment:
- Collaborate with Product Leadership to define and refine the product strategy, aligning with broader business goals (OKRs).
- Lead annual and quarterly planning processes, ensuring roadmaps reflect strategic priorities and resource allocation.
- Develop frameworks and tools to evaluate and prioritize product initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and market needs.
- Operational Excellence:
- Design and implement processes that improve the operational efficiency of product management, including roadmap management, product lifecycle processes, and cross-team collaboration.
- Standardize workflows to support product development cycles from ideation to launch.
- Implement and manage tools that enhance team collaboration, data visibility, and project management.

Data-Driven Insights & Reporting:
- Lead a team of Business Analysts to build and maintain product dashboards that track key performance metrics (KPIs) and provide insights into product performance and impact.
- Conduct market, competitor, and performance analysis to support data-driven decision-making across the product portfolio.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between product teams and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
- Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring that product strategies are aligned with user needs and market demands.

Program & Project Management:
- Oversee the execution of cross-functional product initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, risk management, and accountability.
Lead special projects, such as process improvements, systems implementations, or strategic growth initiatives, as assigned by Product Leadership.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Top tier university
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA from top tier university is preferred.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy, operations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program management, or business operations within a product-focused organization.
- 3+ years experience in the UCaaS, CCaaS, and/or CPaaS market.
- Strong track record of improving operational efficiency and driving large-scale projects to completion.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of product management processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to analyze data, synthesize insights, and present findings to senior leaders.
- Expertise in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar project management software.
- Ability to balance both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
