Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, OVN Product Management will be a leader in the OVN Product Strategy team. This team plays a critical role in designing, managing and implementing OVN. The team works closely with multiple functions including global and regional partners in Product, Technology, Client Services, Marketing and Communications. The successful candidate will focus on a range of product development, product management and product strategy aspects supporting the global roll out of OVN across the organization.
OVN is one of the most impactful changes to Visa’s core processing systems undertaken in over a decade. Playing a leading role in this exciting initiative, the Global Product Strategy team is responsible for the design and execution of OVN’s Go-To-Market strategy.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Working closely with Product partners, Technology, Client Service Marketing and Communication teams on a range of technical readiness activities related to OVN’s Go-To-Market strategy.
Leverage existing business and technical knowledge to ensure product objectives are achieved within a comprehensive delivery strategy.
Defining and ensuring successful delivery of all non-functional requirements including performance, throughput and resiliency.
Ownership/workstream lead for specific readiness activities involving multiple teams.
Support the planning and execution of future roadmap use cases which leverage OVN to achieve Product or Market goals and deliver on the OVN Go-To-Market strategy. This will involve close collaboration with a wide range of global and regional teams.
Leverage existing working knowledge of VisaNet processing, including, but not limited to authorization, clearing, and settlement functionality and services, in driving the ideation, design and development of future OVN products and enhancements.
Understand key market trends, potential competition, evolving regulation and user requirements, specifically related to Visa’s core processing and network-enabled Value Added Services.
Support the development and delivery of stakeholder communications in partnership with OVN Technology, Marketing and Communications.
Develop clear and concise Executive level communications and updates.
Experience in using Generative AI models and prompt engineering would be beneficial but not essential
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
Typically requires 8+ years total experience including 4+ years experience in Payments or Technology, with a focus on transaction processing services/client readiness/product management.
Practical knowledge and understanding of VisaNet transaction processing flows, including
Authorization, Clearing, and Settlement functionality and related Value Add Services.
Client facing experience, especially in VisaNet transaction processing related topics, a plus.
Ability to lead and manage complex projects independently, working across multiple workstreams in a matrixed organization and engaging at all levels.
Experience in planning and prioritizing/re-prioritizing across multiple deliverables.
Eagerness to work in teams with colleagues of all levels to accomplish long term project objectives.
Superior analytic and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated analytic rigor and attention to detail
Personal, executive presence and ability to communicate compelling messages clearly and succinctly to senior level executive, excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
Strong interpersonal, leadership and collaboration skills, team player.
Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position - This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work alternating weeks from the office two days a week a, a Tuesday and Wednesday, and three days a week a, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,700.00 to 214,150.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
