The Role:

DailyPay is looking for a Senior Manager of Policy Operations & Analytics to join our team! The Senior Manager of Policy Operations & Analytics will utilize various types of data to draw insights and build strategic recommendations to drive business value for the company, while working collaboratively to empower the Public Policy, Compliance, Product and GTM teams to operationalize responses to regulatory changes. This role is highly cross functional and requires an ability to take initiative, work with diverse internal and external stakeholders, and execute in a fast-paced environment on our highest priorities.
The mission of the Data Team is critical for continuous development and success of our product, understanding the needs of our customers and partners, and maintaining DailyPay’s leading role in the early wage access industry -- and the Manager of Public Policy Analytics will be instrumental in helping to realize this vision for DailyPay.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • In partnership with the Public Policy team, track and develop regulatory strategies in response to developing laws around the US and internationally
  • Monitor ongoing regulatory, legislative and compliance efforts to ensure DailyPay business efforts continue to stay ahead of market developments
  • Advise on and develop data-driven strategies to help Policy team advocate for policies related to DailyPay’s business priorities
  • Support the execution of a strategic public policy engagement plan to drive forward business objectives
  • Engage internal stakeholders to determine the company’s position, priorities, and risks in an evolving regulatory landscape
  • Lead cross-functional teams in operationalizing responses to regulatory changes, partnering with product, legal, PMM, compliance, and GTM organizations to strategize, implement and manage new operating models
  • Partner with Product to scope, validate, build, and operationalize product and operating model changes 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 3+ years SQL experience; expert SQL capability
  • 5+ years in a highly analytical role: analytics, strategy and operations, operations, product management, or consulting
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Creative and strategic thinking and the ability to understand complex issues and identify clear and effective action plans to resolve them is desired
  • Strong written and verbal communication to internal and external audiences including senior government officials and company executives is desired
  • Adept at working with diverse cross functional teams (including but not limited to trust and safety, legal, product, research, comms, and marketing)
  • Are familiar with the process of designing and advocating for policy and regulatory proposals for consumer and/or enterprise tech products
  • Direct management experience & high-growth startup experience is preferred

Pay Transparency.  DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
