We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our GTM Enablement Center of Excellence, where you will oversee global, cross-functional extended onboarding and foundational training programs for Sales, Customer Success, and Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to create and drive significant impact within LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization (GBO) and across global GTM Enablement!

In this role, you will equip LinkedIn’s sales, customer success, and operations new hires with a skills-based learning experience that enables each individual to succeed in their role, ultimately creating value for our customers. You will define the short-term evolution and long-term vision for the new hire onboarding and foundational training programs, collaborating with various teams—including learning experience design, program management, measurement, line of business enablement teams, cross-functional partners, and leaders—to bring this vision to life.

You will foster a mindset of continuous improvement by measuring the impact of the onboarding program against clear success metrics to identify areas for amplification. The extended New Hire Onboarding program lays the critical foundations for GBO to be LinkedIn's growth engine.

The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with experience building and implementing multi-modal adaptive learning experiences, unafraid of the complexity required to bring this vision to life. We seek someone with a strategic and analytical mindset, operational rigor, strong executive communication skills, and a continuous commitment to iteration and improvement, inspiring others with both the vision and the collaborative approach needed to achieve it. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, development and execution of the  long-term strategy GBO extended Onboarding programs. 

  • Define a clear vision and the needed tactics to build a cohesive onboarding approach across GBO while balancing unique needs that may be required by one line of business

  • Work closely with the Sr. Manager of Blueprint to ensure successful implementation of our sales skills, methods and tools into our onboarding program for new hires  

  • Measure the success of the onboarding program through the Kirkpatrick model and clearly communicate the program’s success against these defined metrics of success and milestones to GTM Enablement and GBO leadership at all levels 

  • Manage stakeholder relationships with LOB and Support Enablement leaders, Sales / Customer Success Leaders, PMM, L&D, Sales Ops and HR - build relationships, ongoing communication, bring others with you along the journey  

  • Demonstrate ongoing agility, humility and growth mindset to identify program improvements and the respective operations needed to execute

  • Lead, coach and inspire a high performing team to execute the onboarding strategy

  • Modern learning obsessed – passionate about knowing the technology and trends that can make learning stick, today  

  • Exceptional communication – know your audience, articulate the “so what?”, inspire others to understand and follow the vision  

  • Ability to travel (~15% of time)  

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in onboarding, learning, enablement, or talent development or related field

  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including leading and managing teams

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with executives and cross-functional leaders

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Skilled in presenting and public speaking

 

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Master’s degree in learning design, instructional design, organizational development, industrial and organizational psychology, or a related field

  • Proven experience partnering with cross-functional leaders to implement large, complex programs

  • Experience working with or leading new hire onboarding programs

  • Background in Learning/Enablement, Sales, or Customer Success Leadership

  • Expertise in deploying change at large organizations, with a deep understanding of change management methodologies

  • Strong consultative skills

  • Proven ability to simplify complex problems

  • Passion for continuous learning

The pay range for this role is $139,000-$211,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
