Job Summary:

Ruggable is expanding globally, launching in a few select but exciting countries every year. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead new country launches in APAC and oversee execution following entry. You are a driven and creative marketing leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and love for home decor. You deeply understand the digital and social media landscape and have an innate ability to figure out what customers want and be a compelling brand storyteller. In this role, you will bring our brand strategy to life (uniquely tailored to the countries we enter) and will lead integrated marketing, product marketing, social media & influencer marketing, PR, with a core focus on driving traffic and revenue growth. 

This role reports into the SVP of International and will oversee a team of marketing agencies while working closely with Ruggable’s North America marketing team. This role is based in Los Angeles, CA and will require occasional travel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Shape Ruggable’s brand and marketing strategy for new country launches in APAC
  • Lead the execution of new country launches and manage ongoing marketing activities post-launch
  • Continuously refine understanding of local consumers and drive hyper-growth
  • Oversee the execution and performance of marketing campaigns, optimizing KPIs across various channels including social media, search engine marketing, and email marketing
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling and cohesive marketing assets that resonate with local target audiences
  • Oversee e-commerce content management and merchandising on our website to drive conversion and enhance the customer shopping experience
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with PR agencies, media outlets, and influencers to amplify brand awareness and credibility
  • Play a central project management role - coordinating between performance marketing, creative, and e-commerce teams to ensure successful execution
  • RFP, vet, and select local marketing agencies to partner with

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • 5-8 years of experience in brand & performance marketing at a direct-to-consumer company
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience leading and managing a high-performing team or direct reports
  • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles, responsible for integrated marketing strategy and execution
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing (performance marketing, media buying, retention, e-comm, etc.) and social media landscape 
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and diverse teams and drive collaboration in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and figuring out how to win with local consumers 

Preferred:

  • Experience living overseas with an understanding of cultural nuances in Asia
  • Experience launching in international or new markets
  • Passion for home goods and interiors
  • Natural storyteller and tastemaker

Compensation:

  • $130,000 - $150,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
