We are looking for an experienced leader responsible for managing the art and development teams in Central America locations. This position is responsible for overseeing all artwork separations from graphic designers and production feasible developments on press. This position requires managing teams in 2 countries and will be the key point person for Central America to the Sr Director. The role will need to be proficient in screen printing and sublimation creatively and technically. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all developments are production-ready and meeting the internal deadlines requires. Strong communication with cross-functional teams throughout the entire development process.
Job Duties:
• Manages the team of artists responsible for creating graphic art setups. Types of art setups include screen-printing separations, sublimation art, and color approval swatches, digitized embroidery files, twill, and laser cut files.
• Manage development and approval of strike-off process in preparation for bulk production.
• Provide technical support and guidance related to embellishment methods and processes when complex issues arise.
• Develop, test, and implement workflows that increase the efficiency and timeliness of order processing and production as a part of continuous improvement.
Knowledge & Experience
Skills/Qualifications:
• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ink systems, and screenprint machinery.
• Uses advanced computer software including the Adobe CC Suite. (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) as well as Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge manufacturing, sublimation printing, and transfer embellishment processes, sewing construction.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to build a productive team.
• Bilingual: English / Spanish.
Education/Certification Requirements:
BA/BS in Business Administration or Engineering
