The Role 

FL97 is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Manager of IT Operations to join our team. You will be responsible for fulfilling the IT Infrastructure and End user needs of the organization and will partner with internal teams and external vendors to design, build and run/support highly available, resilient and secured systems and infrastructure. A major part of this role will be to ensure that the infrastructure and IT services are fit for the purpose, performance monitored for continuous improvements and optimized for cost.

Responsibilities include: 

• Develop and implement IT Operations strategy
• Develop and maintain IT policies and operating procedures
• Design, build and Run/Maintain highly available and secured IT Infrastructure, Network and Applications
• Provide End user support including hardware provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, user trainings and helpdesk/onsite support
• Implement and manage IT Service Management processes including Incident, Change, Problem, Asset Management process.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure the quality of service
• Partner with R&D, all business functions and Security teams to define, document, educate and enforce IT and security policies/best practices
• Continuously monitor IT infrastructure and services for misconfigurations, security threats/vulnerabilities and implement proactive measures/continuous improvements
• Define, measure and report on performance against SLA’s and KPI’s

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT Operations with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Extensive experience managing Cloud Infrastructure with a focus on AWS.
• Passionate about emerging cutting-edge technologies and can quickly implement those to solve business problems.
• In-depth understanding of IT Infrastructure/Network, Identity and Access Management and Service Management
• Experience in managing highly regulated environments such as scientific laboratories.
• Certifications such as ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect is a plus
