Senior Manager, HR Systems

The 10x Genomics People Team is looking for a Sr Manager, HR Systems to join our People Solutions organization. The role will manage our HR Tech stack, processes and projects. Individuals applying for this position must be self-starters, strategic thinkers, action driven, flexible in changing direction and methods, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing multiple priorities, succeed in communicating with all levels within the organization, and provide immediate contribution. We are looking for an individual who has curiosity about and deep knowledge of HR systems who can help empower our People function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current HR tech stack to drive improvements from a people experience standpoint
  • Partner closely with our partners in IT to configure, process improve, and troubleshoot our HRIS, Workday
  • Evaluate current pain points within the HR tech ecosystem and make process recommendations to internal partners as well as drive implementation of process changes
  • Develop Business Requirement Documentation in partnership with the People Team COE’s: Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and other special projects as needed.
  • Project manage all system enhancements to ensure they are are fit for purpose, which includes user acceptance testing, training and reporting of system enhancements and new projects
  • Create process documentation in the support of COE programs, including: Support COE activities conducting data validation and post-mortems to improve future planning cycles to improve the employee experience
  • Analyze and interpret business process issues and make recommendations to management and the wider People team in relation to system updates and process improvements
  • Collaborate with external vendors ensuring data integrity and proactive support
  • Upload data as part of the key HR processes - such as compensation planning, promotion and open enrollment
  • Be the data custodian for all data that is in our systems
  • Pull and analyze data as requested by the CPO and other team members

Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or related degree
  • 8+ years relevant experience with HR systems and/or similar technologies
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, and/or other modules
  • Experience managing projects in a fast paced environment
  • Articulate, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment
  • System thinking orientation – comfortable viewing problems and challenges holistically the ability to consider all interdependencies before action
  • Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and deliver an excellent work product in a fast-paced, and rapidly changing dynamic company
  • Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust building behaviors in all dealings is essential and required
  • Excellent customer-service orientation, high degree of professionalism, and ability to work with limited direction

Below is the base pay range for this full time position.  The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package.  This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.  Your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company’s total compensation package during the hiring process.

$155,000$209,000 USD
