Who You Are
Brightwheel is seeking a talented strategic finance leader to play an essential role in our next stage of growth. You will be responsible for driving decision-making on our most critical areas of go-to-market growth across the business. You have exceptional problem solving & analytical skills and love tackling complex challenges with data-driven solutions. You are an excellent collaborator and have proven experience working with senior leadership teams to deliver outcomes for the company. What You'll Do
- Serve as a key financial advisor and thought partner to executive stakeholders across Sales and Marketing
- Steer our GTM strategy by delivering actionable financial insights and analyses to identify key areas of opportunity in our go-to-market motion to drive top line growth for maximum impact on the business
- Collaborate with Sales leadership drive performance improvements across the entire GTM funnel.
- Build the next iteration of our compensation plans, policy designs and procedures by partnering across Finance, Sales Ops and People to maximize performance
- Lead the budgeting and planning process for all GTM departments. Ensure alignment between GTM strategy and financial goals, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
- Work closely with Corporate F&S, accounting, and operations to streamline reporting processes and align on key financial metrics.
Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities
- 9+ years of finance experience, including a combination of investment banking, investing (venture capital or private equity), and in-house operating experience at a technology company; MBA, management consulting, and/or Saas/FinTech experience preferred.
- 4+ years of Sales finance experience, partnering with CRO / VP of Sales
- Proven ability to partner with all levels of management to guide strategic decision making; ability to apply both financial and operational lenses.
- Ability to think strategically, along with a willingness to get into the weeds.
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical toolkit, and experience building and owning financial models.
- Entrepreneurial builder, who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment.
