Senior Manager - Forecasting and Planning

Location Details: Remote - United States

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy Care & Services Workforce Planning & Logistics is hiring a driven Senior Manager, to lead Forecasting & Planning, who is passionate about data, operational excellence, and innovation. In this role you will be part of the Forecasting & Planning team committed to ensuring GoDaddy has solid plans for our contact centers around the world, including making sure guides are always available when customers need them, across 21 sites in 15 countries.

What you'll get to do...

  • Lead a team of analysts in creating accurate rolling 18-month demand forecasts for various products (phone, messaging, etc.) in global regions, allowing for proper staffing to meet customer demand
  • Take ownership of projecting operational performance, including forecast variances, service levels, and overall performance, ensuring that models and algorithms are accurate based on real data
  • Lead statistical modeling to anticipate the effects of business and product changes on guide and customer workflows, processes, routing, and marketing strategies
  • Manage the creation of models and ad-hoc queries to support business analysis to diagnose business performance and identify root cause
  • Prepare and present quarterly forecasts (contact volume, headcount, projected expense variances tied to front-line headcount) in a way that is easily digestible by audiences of varying levels, including senior leaders
  • Collaborate with various teams such as Channel and Marketing to create customer contact demand forecasts that align with our business objectives, customer requirements, and financial goals

Your experience should include...

  • 10+ years of experience with demand forecasting, capacity planning, or financial modeling
  • 5+ years managing and developing senior-level analysts
  • Deep knowledge of ARMA/ARIMA/SARIMA, decomposition, linear regression, exponential smoothing, or related statistical models, build scenarios and forecasts including capacity and financial models
  • Proficiency with R
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including advanced statistical and worksheet functions), business intelligence applications such as Tableau, QuickSight, and databases

You might also have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Predictive Analytics, Statistics and Probability, or a similar field
