The Field Marketing Senior Manager in North America is responsible for developing and executing the Account-based marketing plan for the region (US & Canada). The plan will contain a mix of local initiatives (3rd party events, webinars, local campaigns etc) and global activities (paid media, content syndication, integrated campaigns etc), which will be decided by the Manager.
The candidate must be comfortable working in a global, matrix organization, managing stakeholders at all levels to achieve their goals. It requires a strong interlock with commercial teams (business development & sales) to maximize pipeline coverage in the target verticals.
The position is a senior leadership role in the marketing organization that will be expected to work autonomously while motivating their team (direct and matrixed), managing multiple projects simultaneously, and providing regular feedback on marketing ROI.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the regional account-based marketing plan to achieve commercial targets
- Drive marketing execution in region utilizing local and global campaigns to meet goals
- Align with commercial function (business development and sales) to review and optimize campaign performance
- Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand marketing activities
- Partner with global marketing demand generation functions and vertical/industry marketing leads to build on global campaigns for local execution, as well as engaging in the global campaign development for ultimate regional fit
- Directly manage a Field Marketing Specialists and drive interlock with key stakeholders from across the marketing organization
- In collaboration with the sales and global events team develop a regional event strategy, attending key events as required
- Plan and execute our flagship annual customer event (X4U) to drive engagement and cross-sell
- Manage external relationships (influencers, vendors, venues, agencies, and media partners) effectively to ensure maximum yield from investment
- Support local commercial initiatives when global approach not possible
- Minimum 8 years field marketing experience in a B2B Technology or Consulting company - Cloud/SaaS experience is preferred.
- Experience of building and driving B2B software sales cycles, funnel management, account-based marketing and nurture programs
- Proven track record in creating and executing multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns and events
- Extensive experience of working directly with commercial teams to drive pipeline and course correct as required
- Experience holding local marketing budget authority and following financial processes
- Strong project-leader with the ability to effectively manage numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Self-starter with minimal supervision requirements
- Confidence in dealing with stakeholders and senior executive and influencing decisions
- Team player, passion for work and willing to generate results
- Ability to attend events & meetings within region and internationally
- Working knowledge of marketing automation, CRM and ABM platforms
