The Enterprise Marketing team at Upwork owns growing our Enterprise business through funnel-filling activity, enablement, activations, and events. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can translate business goals into memorable experiences for our customers to take on the role of Senior Manager, Field Marketing - Demand. This is a high-visibility role responsible for fostering meaningful engagements with our target audiences and developing comprehensive strategies for new business opportunities through demand-generation initiatives. Leveraging high-impact field marketing activities, the role focuses on driving new pipeline opportunities in close collaboration with our sales counterparts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead field marketing strategies and initiatives focused on driving demand, ensuring alignment with Land Sales Strategy.
  • Drive thoughtful evergreen and account-based programs for prospecting, including Webinars, Executive Networking, 3rd Party Programs, Meeting Maker Programs, and Private Equity activations.
  • Lead a team to execute account-based approaches, plans, and deliverables for priority target accounts.
  • Drive the Private Equity channel strategy and execution through PE partners to land portfolio companies.
  • Accountable for generating qualified opportunities through field marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as the trusted main point of contact for Sales Land leadership to drive contacts, engagement, and conversions, and bridging the feedback loop between sales and marketing.
  • Own performance reporting against objectives for each program type and inform continuous improvement and optimization of programming

What it takes to catch our eye:

  • Experienced people manager with a strong background in leading Field Marketing functions to drive top-of-funnel and quality opportunity conversion
  • Proven history of scaling meaningful, impactful metrics-driven outcomes through field marketing acquisition programs
  • Background leveraging a variety of field marketing and ABM tactics to achieve targets
  • Strategic thinker with expertise in building marketing plans and achieving desired quantifiable outcomes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills

The annual base salary for this position in California and Washington ranges from $151,000 - $175,000. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position in California and Washington, and individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for the annual bonus plan or sales incentive plan and eligibility to participate in our long term equity incentive program.
