As Senior Manager - Events, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of Freshworks’ global events portfolio. This includes high-profile corporate events such as Sales Kickoffs, product launches and global user conferences. You will oversee the end-to-end event lifecycle, from concept to post-event analysis, ensuring that each event drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and business outcomes such as NPS and revenue growth. This role demands strong leadership in cross-functional collaboration, excellent communication, and a strategic mindset to align events with Freshworks’ broader business goals.

The Senior Manager - Events will be responsible for ensuring the success of key corporate and client-facing events globally, while continuously optimizing for attendee experience, operational excellence and budget management.

  • Lead the global events team in planning and executing Freshworks’ portfolio of corporate and customer-facing events, including Sales Kickoffs, product launches, Customer Advisory Boards, and global user conferences.

  • Drive the strategic development of event agendas, branding, and attendee engagement strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and messaging.

  • Oversee all event logistics, including budgeting, project management, vendor relations, and event execution, ensuring excellence in all phases of event production.

  • Manage keynote production, breakout sessions, and speaker coordination (both internal and external), ensuring a seamless show flow.

  • Oversee partner sponsor relationships and exhibit hall planning and execution, maximizing sponsor value and event impact.

  • Lead the execution of ancillary events, such as executive meetings, customer testimonials, press interviews, and customer advisory boards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Sales, and Brand) to ensure event design, communications, and content are fully aligned with Freshworks’ brand and business objectives.

  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Brand and Integrated Campaigns teams to develop strategic messaging and promotion plans for events and trade shows.

  • Develop clear communication plans for stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and detailed event briefing documents.

  • Lead post-event analysis by overseeing metrics, analytics, and feedback loops to evaluate event success, drive continuous improvement, and refine strategies for future events.

  • 7-10 years of experience in global events management within the software industry, with a proven track record of leading large-scale corporate events.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams and working with C-suite executives.

  • Demonstrated success in driving business outcomes such as brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth through event strategies.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple events simultaneously and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external vendors and partners.

  • Analytical mindset, with experience measuring event performance and applying insights to improve future event strategies.

This role is based in the San Francisco Metro Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.

Compensation Package

$150,000-$216,200 USD Base Salary + Variable Compensation (where applicable)

Please note this is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).
