Leadership and Team Development:

  • Set clear objectives and expectations for the design team
  • Develop individual team members, nurturing their strengths
  • Build and maintain a positive and productive team culture

Resource and Performance Management:

  • Optimize team resources for efficient project allocation
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback
  • Address team dynamics and performance, fostering a supportive environment

Project Oversight and Coordination:

  • Ensure all design projects align with company goals and brand identity
  • Implement efficient project management for timely and quality delivery
  • Facilitate collaboration with other departments, aligning objectives

Operational Excellence:

  • Streamline processes for enhanced efficiency and productivity
  • Manage the design team's budget, optimizing resource utilization
  • Encourage continuous improvement and innovative solutions

Innovation and Trends:

  • Stay abreast of design and technology trends, integrating innovative approaches
  • Encourage and implement new ideas to enhance the team's creative output

Brand Stewardship:

  • Uphold and evolve the company's brand standards and guidelines
  • Ensure all design deliverables align with the brand's identity and messaging

 

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

Experience:

  • Design Leadership: Significant experience in a design management or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire a creative team.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality design projects on time.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience facilitating effective collaboration between design teams and other departments, ensuring aligned objectives and seamless communication.
  • Budget Management: Experience in developing and managing budgets, optimizing resource utilization and cost-effectiveness within a design context.

Skills, Knowledge, and Systems:

  • Team Building and Mentoring: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on mentoring, coaching, and building a collaborative team culture.
  • Educational Background: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Modern Project Management Tools: Proficiency in modern project management tools and methodologies to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest trends in design and technology, integrating innovative approaches into design projects to ensure they remain cutting-edge.
