As our Senior Design & Ops Manager, you will make sure that both our customers and merchants are at the heart of Allegro. You will shape and execute our company’s strategy into products designs that simplify shopping and selling, and make Allegro a place that users absolutely love. You will ensure that the UX operations and design system are world-class and are as easy as possible to make sure that our work is efficient.
Your main responsibilities

Strategic Decisions: Translate Allegro Mall Group's strategy into customer-and-merchant-centric products that deliver business value. This includes data analysis and trend monitoring to inform your decision-making process. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs, e.g. rNPS) for design and operations teams to monitor if you achieved your goals.

Team Management: Lead a mid-size team (>20) of design leaders and principals, ensuring the execution of Allegro's experience vision. Your task will be to ensure our product portfolio addresses the most significant customer needs and engage your team in delivering on this.

Product Development: At each step of product development: Define, Design, Develop and Debrief, take charge, ensuring that the products we create are customer focused and align with our overall strategy.

Design Operations: Oversee design operations to ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining high productivity without compromising on quality. Encourage the community to follow the direction you've set.

Design System: Create a long-term UX vision for Allegro and be able to manage Design System refinement, or even revolution. Manage the development and maintenance of our design system to provide consistent and user-friendly experiences across all of our products.

Influential negotiation and communication: Apply your extensive knowledge from internal and external research, market analysis, data analysis, and trend monitoring to identify business opportunities that can put us ahead of the competition. You'll be expected to convince senior leadership to invest in these opportunities, making Allegro's experience stand out from the rest.

Thinking forward: Stay updated on technological advancements relevant to design and operations. Integrate new technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and innovation in design and operational processes.
We are looking for people who
- Are experienced in Product Design or UX (at least 10 years)
- Are experienced in leading a team (at least 5 years; team size >20)
- Are experienced working with executive leaders (at least 2 years)
- Have comprehensive knowledge of design methods (i.a. workshops) and tools (i.a. Figma)
- Are very familiar with market analysis, trend monitoring, and data analysis
- Have deep understanding of customer journey mapping
- Have exceptional team management skills
- Are fluent in English: speaking (presentations) and writing (i.a. PR/FAQ)
