We are looking for an experienced public relations leader to uphold our stellar reputation worldwide in the cybersecurity market as the evolving cyberthreat landscape and geopolitical climate continue to become more complex. This means providing strategic counsel and support on emerging crisis situations and globally relevant security incidents, expanding our crisis preparedness initiatives and cultivating creative brand reputation goodwill-building activities. Join our amazing Corporate Communications team as Senior Manager, Crisis Communications and Reputation Management.
The right candidate will demonstrate both trust and integrity, a positive attitude; works well under pressure; and is an independent worker who possesses high levels of partnership with internal stakeholders. This will be coupled with an understanding of and enthusiasm for the unique nuances of our brand and approach to shifting the way executives around the globe think about security. The ideal candidate will have a clear view of how communications is evolving and how the role of narrative building and the right messaging can make the difference between being a leader and a follower. Being prepared to roll up sleeves and dive in at all is mission critical to this function, because sometimes keeping us out of the news is more important than seeing us in it.
You are keenly aware of the critical cybersecurity moment the world is in right now. And, as cybersecurity impacts a broad range of audiences - from business to government, consumer to investor - you thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you’re as comfortable working cross-functionally to develop proactive plans, reactive statements and FAQs, and can engage with media to provide context and clarity on any situation.

The Senior Manager, Crisis Communications and Reputation Management reports to the VP, Corporate Communications and will be responsible for leading the development of crisis communications. This is a full time position, ideally based in our Santa Clara, California HQ but could be remote for the right candidate.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $148,600/yr to $240,450/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
