As a part of the Expo Experience team, you will help drive the creation and execution of captivating, immersive, interactive, and scalable event environments. This role requires mastery in collaboration and dot connecting, and a blend of organizational excellence, project management, and creative skills to bring brands and narratives to life in a captivating way.
This role will be responsible for owning and driving the overall creative process with the Brand Creative team, which will include pre-planning and onsite management of all environmental aspects of the strategic events portfolio from graphics to digital signage to wayfinding to environmental builds. They will manage the Graphics production process, including budget and approval management, and help improve upon the process to scale it across the entire events portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a passion for events, love being a part of a winning team, and have proven success in creating, driving, and executing program management across various event processes. This person should also be able to solve business needs through creative problem solving, strong collaboration, and is successful management of multiple and evolving priorities and voices.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Coordination: Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure ideas can be efficiently envisioned, ideated, optimized, and brought to life. Lead agencies and vendors to support and execute logistics. Act as a single source of truth in partnership with global teams, including brand and creative, event communications, and event technology teams.
Operational Excellence: Deliver impactful creative and experiences and ensure operational excellence by driving end-to-end programs at a global scale, leading the creative experience planning cycle, the development of project plans, work back schedules, and budget strategy.
Budget Management: Ensure projects are executed within budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
Creative Conceptualization: Collaborate with Event, Brand, Product, Sales, and Content Marketing teams to understand objectives, and develop creative concepts for immersive experiences that align with these objectives.
Measure Impact: Assess the effectiveness of the creative environment through attendee and executive feedback and surveys and adjust as necessary.
To be successful in this role you have:
Expertise: 7+ years in designing, developing, and delivering major hosted programs for customers and prospects globally, preferably in high-tech or related industries. A high degree of emotional intelligence.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and activate insights throughout the creative process.
Collaboration: Ability to lead conversations with multiple stakeholders, opinions, and possible outcomes and find an aligned and successful path forward motivated by a “best outcome” vs “my way”.
Communication: The ability to communicate well at all levels of an organization via presentation, written, and spoken channels. Capable of guiding teams and external partners effectively.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while managing multiple projects. Proactive approach to leading initiatives that align with business needs.
Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest trends in experiential marketing, technology, and storytelling techniques to continuously improve your approach.
Empathy: Lead with empathy, managing external expectations while fostering a positive and innovative work culture.
This role is critical for creating compelling and consistent event experiences that align with the brand's strategy and resonate with the audience. The person in this position needs to be not only creative but also highly organized, detail-oriented and strategic, adaptive, and a strong collaborator who can guide partners to deliver high-quality work.
