LinkedIn is seeking a savvy Communications professional for the role of Sr. International Corporate Communications Manager. This person will be part of the Global Leadership Communications team working closely with colleagues across the US and Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on our EMEA markets.  The role offers the unique opportunity to help set the international communications strategy for Executive thought leadership and corporate storytelling to drive the biggest impact for LinkedIn’s business. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the EMEA and global media landscape and strong relationships with regional journalists.  

Responsibilities 

  • Act as horizontal corporate communications partner with colleagues across the US, Asia Pacific and EMEA markets, managing and coordinating with teams globally. 

  • Manage and build relationships with key journalists and/or partner with communications leaders in international markets to drive media opportunities for LinkedIn. 

  • Proactively identify strategic media and speaking opportunities for LinkedIn’s executives. 

  • Develop proactive/reactive messaging, briefing and FAQ documents for announcements and media campaigns, and broader cross-functional efforts. 

  • Build and scale foundational programs such as processes and playbooks for LinkedIn Executive international visits and international media visits to LinkedIn headquarters.

Basic Experience 

  • 9+ years of related PR or external communications experience 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

  • Well-developed and well-maintained media relationships 

  • Deep experience in working with journalists and managing global media  storytelling 

  • Experience working with and driving communications results for executives or senior leaders 

  • Solid understanding of business and media environment, including regulatory environment 

  • Demonstrated ability to work in horizontal roles with colleagues across different geographies and across multiple teams 

  • Proven ability to work effectively with executives 

  • Fantastic organisational skills and an innate ability to multitask and prioritize 

  • Very strong project management and decision-making skills 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and unstructured, deadline-oriented environment 

  • Possess a high degree of integrity and sense of confidentiality 

  • Strong results orientation in a dynamic, high-growth, fast paced environment with proven track record of delivering on projects with tight deadlines and cross-functional working 

  • Quick learner and self-starter who has the ability to solve problems collaboratively across numerous teams 

  • Able to work well independently and across time zones
