Senior Manager- Commercial Finance EMEA #1508

We are looking for a Senior Manager Commercial Finance (EMEA) who will be responsible for driving margin analysis, contract value assessments, market investments, and corporate development initiatives for a growing global company expanding its presence in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the regional General Manager and support teams to optimize business performance.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will lead financial planning and reporting processes, providing key inputs and indicators for EMEA operations. Additionally, this role will support overall financial planning systems and process integration, collaborating with global sites to implement automation and analytics solutions. This position requires a strategic thinker who can work across global teams to align key planning inputs, financial metrics, and KPIs to streamline budget and actual reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with commercial and operations teams to optimize revenue and profitability across the region
  • Deliver robust analytics to executive-level audiences on financial forecasts and performance
  • Prospect, value, and structure transactions and partnerships to increase market share and earnings growth
  • Develop sophisticated financial models and analytics to support annual strategic planning processes
  • Partner with department leaders to develop bottom-up budgets
  • Create three-statement financial models that connect KPIs to actionable drivers for optimizing business performance
  • Collaborate with corporate team for consolidation of forecasts
  • Develop and implement planning processes to streamline budgeting across operations and sales organizations
  • Leverage planning tools and reporting systems to drive disciplined performance to plan
  • Work closely with accounting to support close analytics and variance analysis
  • Develop team members to increase organizational capabilities and ensure business continuity

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
  • MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant post-graduate credentials advantageous
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in Commercial Finance
  • Experience with SAP, Adaptive Insights, PowerBI, and Salesforce
  • Experience in finance related to manufacturing, logistics, or production environments
  • International and public company experience
  • US GAAP experience
  • Experience with project-based revenue recognition
  • M&A background
  • Advanced three-statement financial modeling capabilities
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written, oral, and comprehension)
  • Experience with P&L management and cash flow analysis
  • Experience with revenue forecasting and margin analytics

Work Environment & Travel

  • Position initially remote in Madrid, then onsite in Madrid office once renovations are finalized
  • Travel requirements: Approximately 25% travel, including 1-2 trips annually to corporate headquarters and regional travel
