We are looking for an experienced Charging Technology Manager to lead our efforts in identifying, evaluating, and implementing cutting-edge DC charging technologies. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Fastned remains ahead in the fast-charging industry, providing exceptional service and innovation.
Your overall responsibilities include
- Identify and evaluate charging technologies: Proactively scan the DC charging and adjacent technologies markets to identify potential manufacturers and suppliers. Convert promising leads into pilots with Fastned.
- Internal coordination and requirement specification: Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and charging manufacturers. Clearly communicate Fastned's specific requirements for DC chargers to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Influence Next-Generation chargers: Work closely with manufacturers to steer the technology, design and functionality of the next generation of chargers, ensuring they are better tailored to Fastned's needs.
- Technical support and knowledge sharing: Provide technical assistance to internal teams (Public Affairs, Construction Management, Operations,...). More broadly, you will be charged with elevating technical knowledge about charging technology within the organization.
- Representative in industry associations: Represent Fastned in technical steering groups like CharIN & the likes and proactively bring forward proposals that help Fastned fulfill its mission.
- Collaboration on energy solutions: Tandem with Grid Capacity & Energy Storage Manager and the Network Operations team on integrating battery technology and ensuring compatibility with our charging network topology.
