Allegro is a leading technology-driven trading company in Poland, listed on the Warsaw stock exchange (ALE) and present in the CEE region. +20 million accounts have been created in PL on the platform so far. In Poland we cooperate with +140k professional B2C sellers who drive their ecommerce revenues via Allegro platform. Customers buy millions of products everyday.

In your position you will be a part of the Advertising Team, who is responsible for advertising monetization of Allegro marketplace. You will be in charge of the team of Business Product Managers who develop advertising and retail media solutions for the brands segment.

We are looking for an experienced leader who has experience in integration, design & build ad or mar-tech systems, and prove their business performance at scale. The perfect candidate has a perfect overview on the digital advertising market, works directly with brands advertisers, monitors future trends, and will be able to identify opportunities to leverage the full potential of Allegro marketplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic planning and execution

Lead display & video Advertising Product Strategy: develop and execute strategies for display advertising campaigns, including existing and new onsite and offsite inventory, with a mobile-first mindset

Analyzing and verifying the effectiveness and business performance of existing & future ad solutions

Lead brand products commercialization: value proposition, pricing, insights, and best practices codification

Preparing competition research & benchmarking (including market “sizing”, advertising landscapes for brands)

Developing and executing a research & measurements masterplan with focus on the brands campaigns

Presenting strategic plans together with work progress to the Allegro Executive Team members & Advertising Management

  • Cooperation with 3rd parties:

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments like Marketing, Findability, UX, Campaign/ Own Media, Consumer, and Commerce to ensure brand and display strategies are integrated and support overall Allegro objectives beyond monetization (discovery, personalization, inspiration, trust, etc.)

Collaboration with external partners (i.e. Mercado Ads, iab, Gemius, Google, Meta, AdForm, WP, RASP)

Business product partnership with Technology Teams (through tech PMs): partnering in design & delivery of brand advertising

  • Secure regulatory & legal compliance of Allegro advertising - supervise implementation in Advertising  BU such regulations like: DSA, DMA, TCF, OTC drugs advertising principles, alcohol products regulations, etc.

  • Team Leadership and Development

Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a team of Business Product Managers, ensuring they are engaged, well-trained & have access to most advanced global retail media know-how

Talent Development: Identify capabilities gaps within the team and implement training or hiring strategies to address them, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and bar-raising.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in an advertising management role (min. 10 years)

  • Experience in building value proposition & media offering for the brands

  • Brands specific know how - working directly with the brands of different segments & sizes, ability to define their needs, knowledge about their internal organization including marketing/trade budgets organization

  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue from the mar-tech solutions (owned or 3rd party)

  • In-depth knowledge of digital advertising strategies, e-commerce, technologies 

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (fluent English required)

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and KPI tracking

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience in cross-functional teams to align personal goals with overall business goals.

  • Experience in building regional or international tech/sales solutions will be a plus
