As a Senior Manager Advanced Procurement at Fluence, you will:

  • Direct team of Advanced Procurement Engineers Globally
  • Achieve cost reduction through analysis, optimization of product bill of materials 
  • Develop, implement and manage the processes to create approved component lists for product development in consultation with category manager and engineering team.
  • Develop capabilities of Advanced Procurement Engineering team for BOM cost optimization and component cost reduction an
  • Establish best practices and capabilities for advanced BOM cost optimization between Procurement and Product Engineering
  • Manage and reduce long lead time components on BOM and support priming supply chain for new product introduction
  • Set targets for team based on company objectives
  • Manage timelines and project deliverables to ensure on-time product launch
  • Guide and support component category managers in supplier negotiations

What will you bring to Fluence?

  • Bachelor’s in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering, Masters preferred
  • 8 years of experience and procurement cost engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading a global team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience to manage cross functional teams
  • Excellent analytical skills
