Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Wish.com, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem-solver and successful in combining technology and data into best-in-class outcomes. The candidate is energized by solving complex business problems and consistently effective in making high-judgment decisions at rapid pace amidst the frequent ambiguity that comes with charting a course of action with no precedent. Moreover, the ideal candidate is energized by an environment where strategy, innovation and decision-making are intentionally distributed, where candor, speed and data are highly valued and colleagues at all levels hold each other to unusually high standards on behalf of Quince customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy and roadmap, ensuring that 3PL logistics operations align with business goals and deliver high-quality service.
- Master the resources of domestic and international logistics service providers in cross-border e-commerce industry.
- Responsible for the vendor selection, assessment, and daily operation management, from the full view of E2E management together with cross-functions.
- Comprehensively manage the cross-border logistics process, covering from manufacturer to domestic pick up, domestic hub, bonded warehouse to complete inbound stock in process, and covering from bonded warehouse to origin gateways, international line-haul, destination import till the finally delivery to complete outbound fulfillment as well as order delivery process. Fully engagement of carrier/partner integration, set up SOP and SLAs.
- Based on the service and price advantages of service providers, set up the optimal end to end route planning and order distribution logic.
- Responsible for the KPI assessment and management of logistics service providers, establish standards, organize supplier meetings, regularly review logistics performance, and continuously track the improvement of service levels.
- Conduct research on the cross-border e-commerce logistics industry and market resources to support business expansion, continuously optimize logistics costs and the end to end process through global logistics resource sourcing and cooperation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, with over 8+ years of experience in cross-border logistics operations and supplier management. Familiar with logistics industry policies and regulations, import and export trade, supply chain management, and commercial cooperation.
- Skilled in integrating resources, establishing a supplier rating and pricing system, expanding channels, and developing high-quality suppliers and channels.
- Proficient in cross-border e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce logistics, and resources of domestic and international logistics service providers.
- Fluent Mandarin and English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, Cantonese will be a plus. Possess keen industry insight, business analysis, and negotiation skill
