WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Machine Learning Platform team at Trade Republic empowers teams to innovate faster with state-of-the-art tools and infrastructure, enabling seamless transitions from experimentation to production.

We primarily use Python, SQL, and AWS services, with Terraform for infrastructure as code and GitHub Actions for efficient development. Our core stack includes Kafka for messaging, Spark and Flink for critical applications, and LGTM for observability.

• Develop and enhance the Machine Learning Platform for seamless model experimentation, deployment, and operationalization.
• Build tools for model reliability, including data drift detection, degradation monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Drive MLOps best practices, ensuring security, scalability, and adherence to company-wide engineering standards.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and architecture guidance, fostering growth and technical excellence.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Extensive MLOps experience, with expertise in building and operating machine learning pipelines and infrastructure for large-scale applications, including diverse algorithms like random forests, boosting methods, and graph-based models.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, with bonus points for experience in GPU computing, PyTorch, and distributed systems like Spark or Flink.
• A research-driven mindset, balancing rapid delivery with long-term scalability, and the ability to navigate uncertainty while shaping strategy.
• Proven leadership in guiding technical teams and driving continuous improvement in tools and techniques
