Senior Machine Learning Engineer

What we’re looking for

You are a senior machine learning engineer with rich experience building text analysis models and insight projects. You will partner with Machine Learning Platform, Legal, Security, Application Engineering, Product Management, Product Design, and Survey Research teams to define and execute the product roadmap. You are well-versed and passionate about building machine learning solutions. You are excellent at influencing the engineering community by encouraging win-win relationships. 

What you’ll be working on

• Propose novel machine learning algorithms and productionize them to help customers from survey creation to insight extraction, such as detecting bias questions, flagging poor quality responses, and extracting common themes from huge amounts of responses. 
• Work closely with Machine Learning engineers to ship models in production seamlessly
• Implement and utilize intelligent tools and technologies
• Play an important role in deriving key insights from our enormous data, suggest and implement new product features, and make improvements in existing models for better user experience. 
• Handle multiple projects with strict deadlines.
• Give technical leadership and mentorship to junior machine learning engineers. 

We’d love to hear from people with

• 4-6+ years of hands-on data science experience
• Experience in Industrial data-mining including applied techniques in data mining and machine learning, especially in the domain of natural language processing and fraud detection
• Expertise in machine learning model development, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, classification and prediction model development, and model deployment.
• Strong programming skills, expert knowledge of algorithms, and data structures (Python preferred).
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning models using tools such as  Athena, Sagemaker, Snowflake,  and Airflow DAG.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, organizational, design, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in inventing innovative and user-friendly products.
• A track record of handling multiple projects with strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a data-driven physical science, or equivalent.
