What You’ll Do: Support data science team and drive data-driven decisions for CarGurus’ using data science and machine learning tools. Duties include: creating and maintaining tools and infrastructure necessary to drive CarGurus innovation and profitability; develop, implement, and integrate Python ML tools to build robust and scalable data from prototype stage; collaborate with team members on their modeling projects and assist with code reviews; collaborate with analysts and non-technical stakeholders across the company to gather business requirements for modeling projects; implement ML model training and interference pipelines for machine learning models; deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot ML solutions and scalable data integration pipelines in AWS; plan, design, and operate cloud-based model deployments; and collect and document user requirements to develop platforms to execute data science workflows. Who You Are: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Position also requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following: Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD); Deploying and maintaining continuous training pipelines for machine learning models; Python Machine Learning (ML) ecosystem; deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting ML solutions in a public cloud; Business intelligence tools, including SQL; and Evaluating and integrating ML tools to accelerate development.
