Senior Logistics Planner

We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Planner to join our team in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in logistics processes and structures, particularly within an OEM environment. This role requires a proactive leader skilled in material flow planning, project management, and working with Volkswagen systems, with a focus on ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee logistics processes and structures specific to the automotive industry, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company standards.
  • Develop and manage material flow planning to optimize production and delivery timelines.
  • Utilize and manage layouts in HLS to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Lead and coordinate project management activities, ensuring all milestones and objectives are met within scope and budget.
  • Work with Volkswagen (VW) systems, specifically AP workflow, AutoCAD, and MicroStation V8i, to support logistics planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support logistics needs across the organization.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in logistics planning within the automotive industry.
  • Previous experience managing projects at OEMs is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes and structures in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in material flow planning.
  • Experience with HLS layout management.
  • Familiarity with VW systems such as AP workflow, AutoCAD, and MicroStation V8i.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; basic knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support project requirements.
