Join Onomondo as (Senior) Legal Counsel, and take a pivotal role in helping shape the strategic direction of our Legal team and strategy.
Key Responsibilites
- Strategic Contract Development: Lead the creation & development, and own our commercial agreements, in collaboration with our Sales and Product team.
- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, such as master agreements, subcontractor, partnership, and nondisclosure agreements, mainly representing Onomondo as a service provider. You will also help the Sales team negotiate and approve deviations from master agreements.
- End-to-end Contract Management (CLM): Take full ownership of contract management and oversee the entire contract lifecycle.
- Advisory Role: Provide strategic legal advice on ad hoc legal matters and complex regulatory issues pertaining to Onomondo's business decisions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Identify and drive compliance projects relevant to Onomondo and the IoT landscape, providing proactive guidance on regulatory risks.
- Commercial Matters: Be a fully integrated member of Onomondo's Legal Team, with a focus on commercial risk identification and internal process improvement.
- Sales Enablement and Training: Support the Sales team on effective negotiation strategies and legal matters within contracts.
- Other tasks as assigned or required.

Requirements
- Qualified lawyer or experienced in-house legal counsel with a strong background in corporate and commercial law.
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial contracting experience, with international exposure and ideally representing the sell-side of a business. Experience with IT or telecommunications law is a plus but not a hard requirement.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving ability, with a practical approach to balancing business and legal objectives.
- Proven ability to communicate complex legal issues in plain English to non-legal stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and negotiation skills, with good business judgment and strategic thinking.

NOTE: We expect the right fit to be based in our HQ in Copenhagen. Therefore, a fully remote contract will not be an option for this post.
